Balik raya

Masa raya pertama tu, aku hantar my girl balik kampung. sempat jugak beraya kat rumah dia sebelum hantar dia balik via LCCT KLIA. The terminal was so packed, we can hardly see the counter. The picture can tell...

(she is among the crowd...pilih la sendiri).

Last year, aku pun balik masa pagi raya. But not via LCCT. KLIA la of course (sebab aku naik MAS. AirAsia??? What is that????). I was lucky at that time because my flight was at 4 am, where everybody is still on their bed. I left home around 2 am. Not many cars on the road. When i reached KLIA, the crowd is just starting to build up. So, i didn't experienced this situation.

Cumanya, amongst the crowd, we met our secondary school ex-principal, Mr. Albert Chia.

"Baru balik raya?" He said.

"Ya...sebab banyak kerja." My girl replied.

"Itulah dia...semangat Kuhara!!!" Said Mr. Albert.

We were stunned for a moment...Semangat Kuhara??? Maybe he is right. Semangat Kuhara.

For those who has just heard this japanese word, it is the name of my school, SMK Kuhara. Founder of the school is Sir George Wyatt on 16 Jan 1967. (Hey, how do i know that? Search the web, please). Why is the name is a little bit Japanese??? Maybe Sir George likes to eat sushi. Hehehe. Actually, my school situated next to a war site, at Jalan Kuhara. Maybe because of that. (maybe). It was believed that around that area, treasures of the japanese army is still buried somewhere. How far it's true, nobody knows.

But, lupakan pasal treasure tu. Ni pasal raya. kalau sapa-sapa jumpa harta to, consider that as a hari raya gift.

Cumanya yang aku tak suka pasal sekolah tu, logo sekolah, motto dan lagu sekolah dah bertukar. Ntah siapa punya idea lah tu. I believe most of my friends tak tau nyanyi lagu baru itu. Kalau nak tunjuk pun dah moden, jangan la ubah yang mana dah ada. dah hilang dah klasik dan nostalgik sekolah aku tu. So, sekarang ni aku dah terasa malas pulak nak pi sekolah tu, sebab dah lain. Sebab... sebab...sebab aku dah tak sekolah situ lagi la, ngong.

Moral of the story:

(i) jangan balik di akhir garisan (masa nak raya). begini la jadiknya...

(ii) kalau masa sekolah dulu bersemangat waja, masa kerja pun perlu bersemangat waja jugak.

(iii) fly MAS (promo ke???).

(iv) please upgrade the LCCT facilities. Since everyone can fly, need to make sure they feel comfortable before they fly.
